les filles et les sciences: un duo electrisant!

Un duo electrisant, un evenement pour promouvoir les sciences aupres des jeunes filles de secondaire 2 et 3 afin de les encourager a entreprendre des carrieres de scientifiques.
Voici mon groupe de jeunes filles. j'etais benevole en tant qu'accompagnatrice et modele pour ces dernieres. Hhmmm ... les autres benevoles m'ont confondue avec les jeunes de secondaire!!! Je n'en reviens pas!!!

Comme activite creative, on a eu a construire un parachute qui tombe le plus lentement possible. Comme materiel, on avait un sac de poubelle, une bille, une assiette, un verre, de la colle, des batons et une "balloune". Notre parachute a fait 1,79 sec, alors que celui du premier prix a dure 2,69 sec. :-(

On a eu 3 ateliers, un pour faire notre propre page-web, un autre sur les sciences en general (on a fait de la glue ??) et le dernier parlait de la geomatique.

Ce fut une journee interessante a l'ETS. L'ecole me manque!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pastor Chan's preaching

This Sunday, we got a funny message from our pastor. I think all the guys were very happy about his advice about dating and marriage. In 3 points, it goes like this:
-just go to sleep
-go to the zoo
-and be patient!
That's all. :) The passage we studied is found Gen 2:18-23. God will take care of everything. But while waiting, we should make ourselves markable!!!!

Butse!

My aunt came back from China and she gave us this thing. It is so weird! It is pretty flat, looks like a space ship! Its name in Wenzhounese is Butse and it was my nickname when I was little, because I was so fat (or me or my face???). Really? :)
