1) More specifically this Saturday:
i was the maid of honour so i needed a decent hairdo and makeup. i had no idea where to go. so i went to chinatown.
i to into a hair saloon. "do you take people right now? i need a hair makeover for a wedding today?"
"sure".
so they washed my hair. good start. then comes the hair dresser. "how should i cut your hair?"
"no cutting, but i need something special for a wedding, like curling my hair?"
"curling your hair? no way! you have too much hair?"
i repeated 4 times that i needed a special hairdo because i was the maid of honour! i almost cried!
the hairdresser didn't care at all. he just blew my hair straight. just what i have all the time.
-so frustrating. didn't know what to do. paid and left, but very unsatisfied and worried because there was the second part and i totally screwed up the first part.
looking for a makeup place in chinatown. asked around people to find a place for makeup. i went to 4 places, first one: sorry the lady is on vacation, will be back on monday!
second one: the lady is busy now will be available only at 2pm (the wedding starts at 2pm!!!!)
third one: the lady will be only available at 3pm, even worse!!
last one: closed!! AH
well, what do you do in those circumstances?? well, i ended up just putting some makeup myself .. not that i know how to do it.
it was a catastrophe!!
Good thing the wedding went well =)
2) This Sunday:
I hear many people congratulating a friend. Someone even asked me if she was pregnant. So I assumed that she was. I even started to look at her to see if her tummy showed!!!
later on, during lunch time, i dared to say to her congratulations. she replied with a scary face: congratulations for WHAT????
then you know that you are in trouble!!!
so the morale of the story is: until someone tell you that she is actually pregnant, don't say anything!!!
